AGENTIC DEFINED

A social cognition theory proposed by Stanford University Psychologist Albert Bandura that views people as proactive, self-organizing, self-reflective and self-regulating as situations evolve. An Agentic perspective realizes that we are more than reactive organisms shaped by our environment or our impulses. With the right frameworks in place, we have the intelligence, foresight and will to create and shape our collective future. To be Agentic is to be both creative and practical, futuristic and grounded, self-interested and inclusive.
