Running a company seems to be the new retirement.

In a culture that seemingly prizes youthful quasi-geniuses, it's good to know that you don't have to be nineteen years old to form a successful startup. In fact, today's Over-50 Entrepreneurs comprise a full one-third of the space. 

Here's the latest infographic on that very subject. The profile of the "mature-preneur" class is still predominantly male. However, the data bears watching in the emerging economies of Africa, Latin America and Asia - where increasing levels of new female entrepreneurs are gaining serious ground.
